FILM 221Managing Your Production3
Develop essential management skills and roles of the film production department. Learn to lead teams, solve problems, and communicate effectively to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Prerequisite: FILM 120.
FILM 320Business of Film & Media3
Navigate the business side of film and media. Learn strategies for success in a competitive industry including the roles of the producer team and an overview on film/television funding, distribution, and marketing paths. Prerequisite: FILM 221.
FILM 424Selling Your Film3
Discover effective strategies for marketing, distributing, and exhibiting films. Learn to pitch projects, connect with audiences, and navigate a film's release landscape. Prerequisite: FILM 320.
FILM 452Writing Dramatic Television3
Create a writer's pitch bible for and write a pilot for a narrative episodic TV series. Focus on developing marketable content, exploring narrative structures, character arcs, and dialogue to produce a compelling and engaging television story. Prerequisite: FILM 250.
FILM 471Fiction Filmmaking3
Create a standalone narrative film to move audiences and advance culture. Focus on storytelling and collaboration to make compelling cinematic stories. Prerequisites: FILM 120, 140, and 280.

Students should refer to their catalog or audited degree plan (ADP) for required courses to complete their degree.

Step 1: Apply to Regent University

Submit your application using the Regent University Online Application.

Step 2: Submit Your Unofficial Transcripts

Submit your unofficial high school or college transcripts to regent.edu/items.

Upon submitting your application, you will receive an email requesting authorization for Regent University to obtain your official transcripts from your U.S. degree-granting institution. International transcripts must be evaluated by a NACES, AACRAO or NAFSA approved agency.

Step 3: Submit Your Government-Issued ID

To ensure academic integrity, Regent University requires a copy of a government-issued ID. Please submit a scanned copy or photograph of it to regent.edu/items.

Step 4: Submit Your FAFSA

Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at studentaid.gov Regent's school code is 030913.
