Laura B. Hernandez, J.D.

Bio

Professor Laura B. Hernandez holds a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Richmond, where she served as Executive Editor of the Law Review, and a B.A. from Houghton University. After law school, she clerked for the honorable John D. Butzner of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Before joining the Robertson Center, she worked as Senior Counsel for the American Center for Law and Justice. She also practiced in commercial litigation with Christian & Barton, LLP in Richmond, Virginia. In addition to being Senior Counsel with the Center, she also serves as Associate Professor, teaching Appellate Advocacy and assisting with coaching the law school’s moot court teams.
